Water Rate Study 2018

In the BBLDWP’s latest proposal, rates are projected to increase 1.3 percent effective July 1, 2018, then increase 2 percent each year for two years (Fiscal Years 2019-20 and 2020-21), followed by a decrease of 15 percent in 2021-22 and a 2 percent increase in fiscal year 2022-23. A public notice was mailed to property owners on or before February 5th, 2018. A public hearing will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the offices of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Big Bear Lake Department of Water and Power located at 41972 Garstin Drive, Big Bear Lake California 92315. Directions on how to provide comment were included in the Public Notice and are available at the BBLDWP offices. Any protest submitted via email or other electronic means will not qualify as written protest.

Residential Service

The residential bimonthly service charge for 5/8" meters is $91.20.
The residential bimonthly service charge for 1" meters is $163.26.

The commercial monthly service charge for 1" meters is $90.05.
